I’ve heard people say that pixel art is ‘just pixel art’ & it all looks the same, but you know what that’s not true at all - we all draw differently & everyone has their own kind of style & ideas for how things should look, & as someone who irl is mainly a traditional style illustrator i can tell you pixeling is not ‘just’ so simple! i’m pretty proud of my challenge outcomes 👌✨
Did you know that you can make fake 3D pixel art in Blender by just like turning anti-aliasing off?? And pixelizing post-effects? Sounds super simple but it took me forever to figure it out.
To celebrate the Metal Gear series being 30 today, I spent the eve making my favourite MGS3 scene in Pixel Art (& made it a fighting game)
